(pronounced LEH-vee, like that American Pie song 🎶 "drove my Chevy 🚗💨 to the levee 🌊 ")
Originally from Vietnam, I’ve lived in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, and now in Brisbane, Australia.
I'm very lucky. I truly love what I do.
As a product designer, I am always fascinated by the "why" in human behaviour.
I constantly ask why users think, feel, and behave in certain ways, and how I can creatively tap into that to solve problems. This obsession started when I studied Psychology as a minor in university, and continued to bring me endless joy in my day-to-day work.
And what is that work? I use human-centred thinking, data and rapid iteration and testing to create design solutions that are intuitive, thoughtful, and achieve business goals.
As a team leader, I value empathy, empowerment and diversity.
I love connecting with my team on a human level, getting to know who they are in and outside of work, celebrating achievements together and giving them support or space to process when things get difficult. As a four-time immigrant, I embrace the wonderful diversity and creativity that different people and backgrounds bring, and I never shy away from a fresh challenge.
Who I am outside of work
You’ll find me soaking up the sun at dog-friendly beaches, doing yoga, cooking/baking up a storm or painting with watercolour.
